HYDROPONIC SYSTEM

The pressure compensating dripper of Agrodrip ” KORONIA NO – DRAIN ” (pressure compensating dripper with built-in drain valve which opens at a pressure greater than 0,4bar & closes at a pressure less than 0.3 bar) provides a stable and uniform flow rate regardless how difficult the morphology of the soil is.

It is ideal for precision applications and especially in hydroponics * where highly coordinated sealing and opening pressures are required.

It is an ideal irrigation solution for vineyards, greenhouses, nurseries, etc., as well as an excellent choice for sloping soils and long irrigation lines.

* Hydroponics is a technique of cultivation of plants outside the soil, mainly in inert substrates. The nutrients necessary for plant growth are not contained in the substrate on which the plant grows, but are provided through a nutrient solution.

Hydroponics allows us to control the conditions in which the plant grows – to regulate the nutrition program of the plant, temperature and humidity of the space surrounding the root. Also, since the substrate is inactive, i.e. it fixes the nutrients, pathogenic microorganisms and other enemies are absent. In addition, weeds do not grow on the substrate, which in turn implies zero use of pesticides and herbicides.

Almost all plants can be grown with hydroponic systems.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • The automatic evacuation mechanism rinses (ie opens and closes the silicone membrane at each start) ensuring reliable operation and less maintenance – self-cleaning.
  • Excellent performance Cv and pressure compensation range (7-58 psi) for steady emission uniformity.
  • No – Drain models eliminate runoff in uneven ground applications.
  • Individual color coding of each flow for easy identification.
  • High quality plastic with silicone barrier that provides reliable performance in the most difficult UV and chemical conditions.
  • Suitable for sloping soil surfaces, for long lengths of irrigation lines or wherever else the complete control of consumption and uniformity of supply is necessary.
  • The dripper can be connected at its outlet with a hydroponics tube directly or with a branch and then with a hydroponic stake in order to safely direct the drop to the desired point.
